HOW TO CONTROL EMOTIONS

This would give you guides on how to control your emotions towards yourbetter-half, friends, officemates and all the people around you, especially your "boss". The rules of practicing "ugaling langit, ugaling kaaya-aya" :

#1 Ang naunang magalit ang may karapatang magalit. Pag naunahan ka na ng galit niya, tumahimik ka na lang muna.

#2 Walang taong nag-aaway mag-isa. Pag hindi kayo sumagot o pumatol, titigil din daw ang taong nakikipag- away sa inyo.

#3 Ang taong galit, 'bingi.' If someone is angry, wala raw pinakikinggan, so, don't try to explain and fight back. Hindi ka niya iintindihin dahil wala siyang naririnig kundi ang sarili nya.

#4 Ang taong galit, 'abnoy.' Ayon sa pastor, Biblical daw ito? because the Lord said when He was crucified, "Father, patawarin mo sila dahil hindi nila alam ang kanilang ginagawa." Modern term for these kinds of people are abnoys, so you better not get angry para huwag kang matawag na abnoy.

You should also know and realize that the persons who make your day bad are jewel, because you need them for you to mature. Hangga't andyan daw sila at kinaiinisan mo, ibig sabihin, immature ka pa. God will not take away those people; it's for you to take away your bad feelings towards them. You'll know na mature ka na pag dumating 'yung time na hindi ka na naiinis sa mga taong ito because you have learned to accept them and to have patience with them.

#5 Finally, the best part of this is to tell yourself na, because of this

INCREDIBLE LOVE STORY

An incredible love story has come out of China recently and managed to touch the world. It is a story of a man and an older woman who ran off to live and love each other in peace for over half a century.




The 70-year-old Chinese man who hand-carved over 6,000 stairs up a mountain for his 80-year-old wife has passed away in the cave which has been the couple's home for the last 50 years.

Over 50 years ago, Liu Guojiang a 19 year-old boy, fel l in love with a 29 year-old widowed mothe r named Xu Chaoqin..

In a twist worthy of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, friends and relatives criticized the relationship because of the age difference and the fact that Xu already had children.
At that time, it was unacceptable and immoral for a young man to love an older woman.. To avoid the market gossip and the scorn of their communities, the couple decided to elope and lived in a cave in Jiangjin County in Southern ChongQing Municipality.

In the beginning, life was harsh as hey had nothing, no electricity or even food. They had to eat grass and roots they found in the mountain, and Liu made a kerosene lamp that they used to light up their lives.

Xu felt that she had tied Liu down and repeatedly asked him, 'Are you regretful? Liu always replied, 'As long as we are industrious, life will improve.'

In the second year of living in the mountain, Liu began and continued for over 50 years, to hand-carve the steps so that his wife could get down the mountain easily.

Half a century later in 2001, a group of adventurers were exploring the forest and were surprised to find the elderly couple and the over 6,000 hand-carved steps. Liu MingSheng, one of their seven children said, 'My parents loved each other so much, they have lived in seclusion for over 50 years and never been apart a single day. He hand carved more than 6,000 steps over the years for my mother's convenience, although she doesn't go down the mountain that much.'

The couple had lived in peace for over 50 years until last week. Liu, now 72 years, returned from his daily farm work and collapsed. Xu sat and prayed with her husband as he passed away in her arms. So in love with Xu, was Liu, that no one was able to release the grip he had on his wife's hand even after he had passed away.



'You promised me you'll take care of me, you'll always be with me until the day I died, now you left before me, how am I going to live without you?'

Xu spent days softly repeating this sentence and touching her husband's black coffin with tears rolling down her cheeks.

In 2006, their story became one of the top 10 love stories from China , collected by the Chinese Women Weekly. The local government has decided to preserve the love ladder and the place they lived as a museum, so this love story can live forever.

My Sunday was pretty fun, i was asked by a friend if i could come and join him in a sunday swimming. at first i couldn't say yes because the people i was with aren't the people i haven't met yet but my friend insisted. So i decided to go instead and to think that i won't get to stay home in a boring weekend plus meeting new friends is gonna be cool than just sitting around all day at home. i had fun though. it was bit tiring but i enjoyed my weekend with my new friends. :D

"jel bday rose finish"

Finally fifteen days after my birthday, June 13th, the gift drawing from Erik, a friend, finished this morning. =)) Yeay!!!
It is a 3 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches made up of alot of dots of black and white color ink to make it darker and india ink, etc. (dunno what/howelse he made it, he said he'll gonna teach me sometime soon how it's done) This took him forever as he said about 25 hours all in all. I still don't have it on hand coz he's busy doing other errands and he promised to mail it by Monday(if not too busy still)
He promised not to show it to me until I receive and hold it, but he showed it sooner than he wanted. Don't you think he spoiled the fun of showing it to me earlier on pc? Yes he did. :/ I actually don't want to see it (eventhough i really want to) unless i hold it personally and see the actual beauty of it, but he's just too excited and insisted to let me than the person he's giving. But the sight of it made me smile =) and surprised! yes surprised, i don't expect the drawing to be a rose especially a yellow one which is a fave color! He promised to draw me a self-portrait but not =( Maybe i can ask for another one? lol Not only what I've expected it to be astonished me but the drawing itself, a yellow rose!! I've been dying(oh not the right and exact word i guess) to receive a yellow rose from anyone/someone (special?) over the centuries everytime my natal day comes and now i received one!? It may not be the actual real rose that i most wanted but still a rose that is yellow... and it got me thinking.... will He be the one?? lol 'Though i know a yellow one means Friendship. :D Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......... :p

St. Anthony is a very complex personality. Elements of reciprocal conflict existed within him. Admitting that this is an imperfect and approximate analysis, we will try to explore some aspects of this extraordinary man. His moral qualities emerge from his voice. He spoke for hours with sweetness and gentleness, or with a serious, deep tone. He was deep, but well-fit for any audience, capable of interesting anyone. He obtained the approval of all listeners through his winning arguments. A great Saint and a fascinating man! It is a pity we cannot approach him in person. But there are plenty of saints in our lives, and the God's Church is rich in them.
